WORKING NEAR UNDERWATER PIPELINES
Available Now! A new online training program that promotes safe dredging and marine construction operations near underwater pipelines. The training covers pipeline safety, damage prevention and emergency response in the marine environment.
Our purpose is to explore and address issues and challenges, in preventing spills, releases and damage to coastal and marine pipelines, which negatively impacts the environment and the safety of our coastal communities.
Our goal is to implement effective solutions that sustain and enhance pipeline asset integrity, environmental protection, industry perception and our right to operate.
This training was funded through a technical assistance Grant awarded to the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation (LPBF) from the U.S Department of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. LPBF is partnering with Coastal and Marine Operators (CAMO) to accomplish this project.
